Synergix Africa Concludes 2025 Cohort 1, Awards N10m to Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs

Synergix Africa has wrapped up the first cohort of its 2025 Webinar Series, celebrating weeks of intensive entrepreneurial training with a total of N10 million in funding for top-performing participants.

What began as a modest digital experiment has developed into a nationwide movement, bringing together early-stage founders, small business owners, and young innovators eager to refine their ideas and scale their ventures. Through WhatsApp, Google Classroom, and Google Meet sessions, participants formed a close-knit community united by ambition and shared challenges.

The programme’s curriculum covered core areas of business development—including idea validation, branding, customer strategy, financial modelling, compliance, risk management, and pitching—pushing participants through demanding assignments and late-night tasks.

The grand finale held in Abuja on November 20, 2025, was filled with emotional reflections. Many participants spoke about juggling family obligations, financial pressure, and personal setbacks while relying on the support of peers they had only met virtually.

Founder and CEO Ken Nwokike, delivering an emotional opening address, praised the resilience of the cohort.
“You pushed through power cuts, personal doubt, and financial strain,” he said. “You proved that growth happens when discipline meets opportunity. You are the future leaders of African enterprise.”

Ijeoma Chinechelum Onwuadi emerged as the overall winner, receiving a N6 million grant.
Luqman Sulaiman Naibi and Eloghosa Lester Oviahon were named first and second runners-up, earning N2 million each. Applause and camera flashes filled the venue as the winners were presented with their cheques.

Participants expressed gratitude for the transformation the programme brought.
“Synergix Africa gave me clarity I didn’t know I was missing,” one participant said. “I joined hoping to survive the assignments. I’m leaving with new partners, a sharper vision, and renewed confidence.”

Nwokike’s philosophy of accessible learning and community-based mentorship shaped the programme’s practical approach, which prioritised real-world problem-solving. Facilitators and programme managers were also honoured for their consistency, even on difficult days marked by nationwide disruptions.

The post-event reception quickly turned into a reunion-like celebration, as participants who had only interacted online met in person for the first time—sharing food, exchanging contacts, and cementing new partnerships.

All cohort members will receive digital certificates and automatic entry into the Synergix Africa Community, which provides continuous mentorship, networking, and access to new opportunities.

With Cohort 2 already underway and more initiatives planned, Synergix Africa says its mission to build a new generation of disciplined, innovative African entrepreneurs is only gaining momentum.
