Tinubu Charges Service Chiefs to End Longstanding Security Crisis

During the decoration of Nigeria’s newly appointed service chiefs at the State House, Abuja, President Bola Tinubu urged them to decisively tackle the nation’s security challenges, some dating back to 2009.

He emphasized that:

  • Security is fundamental to national development.
  • Armed forces must act proactively, innovatively, and courageously.
  • Nigerians expect results, not excuses.
  • New threats in the North-Central, North-West, and parts of the South must be neutralized.
  • Technology should be deployed to stay ahead of criminals and terrorists.

Tinubu assured full support to the military, expressing gratitude for past sacrifices while stressing the urgency of addressing evolving security threats.
