
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially sworn in Dr. Bernard Mohammed Doro and Mr. Kingsley Tochukwu Udeh as ministers at a brief ceremony in the State House Council Chamber, Abuja, just before a Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
- Dr. Bernard Doro, a pharmacist and lawyer from Plateau State, replaces former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, who is now APC National Chairman. His appointment was confirmed by the Senate in late October.
- Mr. Kingsley Udeh (SAN) from Enugu State takes over from former Minister of Science, Innovation, and Technology, Uche Nnaji, who resigned over allegations of certificate forgery. Udeh previously served as Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in Enugu State, and his appointment was Senate-confirmed yesterday.
Immediately after the swearing-in, the FEC meeting commenced, led by Tinubu, with key officials including SGF Senator George Akume, HoCSF Mrs. Esther Didi Walson-Jack, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, NSA Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, ministers, and special advisers, discussing a report on the state of the economy presented by Minister of Finance Wale Edun.
