UNN Appoints Chimamanda Adichie, Others as Visiting Professors

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has appointed Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, one of the world’s leading literary figures, as a visiting professor. This appointment, along with those of Prof. Kevin Urama (African Development Bank) and Prof. James Robinson (University of Chicago), aims to enhance UNN’s global academic presence and foster stronger collaborations in teaching, research, and policy.

  • Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie: The globally renowned writer and author of works like “Half of a Yellow Sun” and “Americanah”, Adichie’s appointment is a recognition of her significant contributions to literature, creative writing, and global intellectual discourse.
