The Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) in America, led by High Chief Samuel Ogaga, recently launched a charitable initiative aimed at supporting elderly residents and widows in Agbarho Kingdom. Starting on December 6, 2025, the initiative focused on providing essential food items to those in need, particularly those who are no longer in employment.
The distribution event, which was coordinated by Mr. Emmanuel Ogaga and Pastor Reuben Ogaga, saw food supplies such as bags of rice, cartons of tomatoes, sachets of tomato paste, cartons of groundnut oil, and bags of salt delivered to the elderly in various communities including Ikwewhu and Agbarho town.
Beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt gratitude to High Chief Ogaga for remembering them during the festive season, offering prayers for God’s blessings upon him. The women of Ikwewhu especially praised the UPU-America president-general for his generosity and care for the elderly in the kingdom.
