Actress Regina Daniels has publicly stated that her estranged husband Ned Nwoko and she were never legally married. In an Instagram post early Sunday, she addressed the reasons behind their separation.

Regina admitted to using drugs but insisted this was not the cause of their conflict. She accused Nwoko of trying to isolate her from her loved ones, alleging he seized her phones, confined her to a room, and attempted to portray her as mentally unstable to control her.

She wrote:

“The moment we had a fight, you rushed to the public shouting ‘drugs, drugs, drugs,’… because you knew it would make a perfect story for the media… You want to find a reason to arrest everyone around me so that I will have no one left beside me… Then when I’m completely isolated and broken, I will be forced to come back to you.”

Regina emphasized that all their problems started when she no longer wanted the union, regardless of her state at the time, and urged the public to know the truth about the situation.
