Hussein Ibraheem, Dubai-based media entrepreneur and Founder of ANJID LLC, has been widely commended for his sustained efforts in youth empowerment and social intervention.
A statement from his media office highlighted that Ibraheem has leveraged media platforms to drive youth development, advocacy, and community engagement since 2015, providing young people with the resources, support systems, and opportunities needed for meaningful economic participation.
“Much of this focus was particularly pronounced during the COVID-19 pandemic. At a time when young people and low-income households were disproportionately affected, Ibraheem coordinated relief efforts, overseeing the distribution of over 100 truckloads of food supplies to vulnerable communities. This provided immediate assistance while laying the groundwork for broader youth-focused recovery programmes,” the statement noted.
In the post-pandemic period, more than 40,000 youths in Northeast Nigeria have benefited from ANJID LLC’s initiatives on capacity building, social support, and community resilience.
Ibraheem’s model reflects a growing trend of diaspora-driven programmes that combine media influence with grassroots impact, demonstrating how strategic initiatives can foster community growth and youth development simultaneously.
His contributions have been recognized with accolades including the SWAN/Northern Youths Association Award, among others, acknowledging his commitment to youth growth and community empowerment.
Ibraheem reaffirmed his organisation’s ongoing dedication to youth-focused projects, social impact expansion, and collaborative media initiatives, emphasizing the role of sustained support in driving meaningful change for young people.
