Meet the New Cast Members of Nobody Wants This Season 2, Including Two Real-Life Partners

Netflix’s romantic comedy Nobody Wants This returned for its highly anticipated Season 2 on October 23, 2025, bringing both familiar faces and exciting new additions to the ensemble cast. The series follows rabbi Noah (Adam Brody) and agnostic sex podcaster Joanne (Kristen Bell) as they navigate the ups and downs of their unconventional romance.

Season 2 sees Brody and Bell’s characters move past the honeymoon phase of their relationship while introducing seven new guest stars, including two actors who are real-life partners of existing cast members.

1. Arian Moayed as Dr. Andy

Arian Moayed joins Season 2 as Dr. Andy, Morgan’s (Justine Lupe) love interest and former therapist. Show creator Erin Foster teased that Morgan finds romance in a “fairly inappropriate place” as she reacts to her sister’s attempts to change their dynamic. Moayed is known for his roles in HBO’s Succession and Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021).

2. Leighton Meester as Abby

Brody’s wife, Leighton Meester, guest stars as Abby, Joanne’s former middle school rival turned “Instagram mommy influencer.” Abby and her husband host a baby-naming ceremony where Noah is recruited for his new rabbi role. Meester called the set “one of the most fun” experiences she’s had and enjoyed watching her husband perform from the sidelines.

3. Joe Gillette as Gabe

Joe Gillette, longtime boyfriend of Jackie Tohn (who plays Esther), portrays Abby’s husband, Gabe. Gillette has appeared in series including CSI: Vegas, 9-1-1, and Silicon Valley.

4. Seth Rogen as Rabbi Neil

Comedian Seth Rogen appears as Rabbi Neil, a progressive rabbi who offers Noah a position at his ultra-modern congregation, Ahava. Known for his roles in Superbad, Knocked Up, and Pineapple Express, Rogen brings high-energy improvisation to the series.

5. Kate Berlant as Cami

Kate Berlant joins as Cami, Rabbi Neil’s counterpart. Co-showrunner Jenni Konner praised Berlant and Rogen’s on-screen chemistry, describing their collaboration as a “dream” that elevated the show’s energy. Berlant’s past work includes Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood (2019) and Don’t Worry Darling (2022).

6. Miles Fowler as Lenny

Miles Fowler appears as Lenny, Noah’s teammate on the Matzah Ballers. Noah tries to set Lenny up with Morgan, leading to humorous complications. Fowler previously appeared in Bottoms (2023) and Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead (2024).

7. Alex Karpovsky as Big Noah

Alex Karpovsky guest stars as Big Noah, a confident rabbi at Temple Chai who competes with Noah for the role of Head Rabbi. Karpovsky is best known for HBO’s Girls and films such as Red Flag (2012) and Folk Hero & Funny Guy (2016).

Season 2 continues to mix comedy, romance, and heartfelt storytelling, while showcasing both returning fan favorites and new, dynamic characters. Nobody Wants This is streaming now on Netflix.
