Ademola Ebeloku, the newly appointed second rector of Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji in Ondo State, has been widely commended for ushering in a period of progress and development at the institution.
Sunday Asuku, national coordinator of the BAT Door-to-Door Movement, described Ebeloku’s tenure as “a new era” for the polytechnic, noting that the institution is now being recognized as a higher education institution rather than a glorified secondary school.
He highlighted several improvements under Ebeloku’s leadership, including upgraded laboratories and workshops, the introduction of new accredited courses, fully functional hostels, conventional electricity, and solar-powered security lighting, all of which enhance learning and campus safety.
Asuku added, “Dr. Ebeloku has made history and carved a niche for himself as a torchbearer. His footprints are evident across the campus, and students now enjoy facilities that truly support education.”
Students and lecturers praised Ebeloku as a team player, unionist, and senior comrade, noting that his approachable leadership style has earned him respect and facilitated smooth administration.
The polytechnic community also celebrated the occasion of the second convocation, marking another milestone in the institution’s growth under his guidance.
