Simon Cowell Claims He’s “Aged Backward” After Trying Controversial Blood Rinse and Filter Trend

Simon Cowell, the iconic music mogul and talent show judge, recently opened up about his unconventional approach to wellness, including a controversial blood treatment that he claims has made him feel younger and more energetic.

Cowell’s Experience with Blood “Rinse” and “Filter”

In a recent interview with The Sun, Cowell, 66, revealed that he visits a wellness clinic where practitioners extract, rinse, and filter his blood before reinfusing it back into his body.

“I go to this place, this wellness clinic, where they actually take your blood, they rinse it, they filter it and then they put it back into your body,” Cowell said. “You do all these tests, and they tell you your age, so I’ve actually aged backwards by eating better, more exercise, less stress, and certain supplements. My brain is still there, I still have the energy.”

Though Cowell did not specify the exact procedure, this method closely resembles apheresis, a treatment gaining popularity among celebrities for its claimed ability to “cleanse” the blood and remove toxins. In July, actor Orlando Bloom disclosed undergoing a similar blood cleaning to remove microplastics from his system.

However, experts note that there is currently no scientific evidence proving the procedure can reverse aging or significantly improve longevity.

Cryogenics and Future Plans

Cowell also joked about considering cryogenic freezing to be awakened in the future but ultimately decided against it. “I found out they chop your head off, so you come back in 2,000 years as a floating head,” he said.

This remark follows Cowell’s history of candid discussions about his efforts to maintain youth, including past plastic surgery procedures. In 2022, he admitted to excessive filler and Botox injections, which led him to stop after seeing how it affected his appearance and even alarmed his young son, Eric, 8.

“Eric was in hysterics,” Cowell recalled. “Enough was enough. There is no filler in my face at all now. Zero.”

Upcoming Show: Simon Cowell: The Next Act

Fans can soon watch Cowell return to his roots of discovering musical talent in his Netflix series, Simon Cowell: The Next Act. The show, set to premiere December 10, follows Cowell as he searches for the next big boy band, building on his history of creating successful acts like One Direction, Fifth Harmony, and discovering Leona Lewis.

What This Reveals About Simon Cowell

Simon Cowell’s openness about blood treatments, aging, and wellness experiments highlights his continued commitment to maintaining vitality while remaining in the public eye. His blend of humor, honesty, and celebrity lifestyle choices continues to captivate fans worldwide.
